IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES

Spectrum's award-winning cultural competency training programs will strengthen your organization's ability to serve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Continuing education credit is available, in most cases, for MFTs, LCSWs, and RNs.

TRAINING FOR SCHOOL STAFF (K-12)

Spectrum works with hundreds of teachers and administrators in public and private K-12 schools throughout Marin and Sonoma Counties, assisting them with addressing issues of sexual orientation and gender identity in age-appropriate ways. The honorarium for nonprofit agencies is $250 for a two hour training, which includes preparation, follow-up and materials. The training is interactive, and when appropriate will include a panel of LGBT speakers. In many cases, continuing education credit for MFTs, LCSWs, and nurses is available.
