Workshops for the LGBT Community
Wondering how to file taxes as domestic partners? Need assistance with completing your will or estate plan? Looking for legal assistance around child custody matters?
There are many agencies in our community offering assistance on these and other topics. LGBT people face additional challenges in some areas because of the continued inequalities in federal and state laws. It may sometimes be difficult to access knowledgeable information as it applies specifically to LGBT people.
And sometimes, it just feels good to know that those who share your issue, also share a common understanding of what it means to be LGBT.
Spectrum offers an ongoing workshop and discussion series specifically for the LGBT community, designed to provide practical advice and support with our specific needs in mind. Examples of such workshops and discussion groups:
