Since 1982, Spectrum has been providing community leadership to promote acceptance, understanding, and full inclusion for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.
We're inspiring community leadership that creates real change. We imagine a world that embraces equality and justice for all. It’s a rich vision that requires a lifetime of practice and many participants. You can be a part of this work. Join us!
Spectrum LGBT Center provides support to teens, seniors and everyone in between:
For youth, ages 14-19, we offer a place to meet, find support, and have fun. We're looking for LGBT youth who want to help us create new opportunities in the North Bay.
For our LGBT older adult men and women, we offer the opportunity to come together for socializing, support, and community.
Our parent/family support consists of counseling and consultation for parents and caregivers to explore their own feelings and concerns. We also offer affordable LGBT-sensitive counseling services provided by LGBT therapists, as well as therapists who are LGBT-knowledgeable.
In times of grief, we offer support for grieving the loss of LGBT loved ones. We are all here to help you through these hard times.
We offer sensitivity and cultural competency training for educators, agency staff and administrators throughout Marin and Sonoma. Our Speakers Bureau provides classroom presentations on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues to thousands of North Bay residents.
