For twenty years, Spectrum has offered a unique weekend experience for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender parents and their children in a safe and welcoming envionment. It's a thrill to stay in touch wtih families whose children are now grown, but remember fondly their annual experience at Family Camp.

The experience doesn't end when the weekend is over. Lifelong friendships are formed as a parents and children connect around their shared family experiences. So often during camp, we hear from parents what a true joy it is to simply "be" with their children, in an environment that is affirming and supportive of LGBT parents and relationships.

Our Family Camp experience brings together all types of familes - single parent, adoptive, foster, blended, and even a few grandparents and grandkids! If you have never yet attended camp, we encourage you to take the plunge this year. It's rewarding community gathering that will give you and your children a lifetime of memories.

Although Family Camp provides time for parents to socialize with other LGBT parents, we also ask that each parent and/or older children, lend support to at least one activity during the weekend. Please indicate your preferences on the registration as we try our best to accomodate requests.

This year, registration may be completed on line here or by downloading this form and mailing it to Spectrum's office. Either way, a 50% deposit must be received with every registration form by April 9th to reserve your space. It is recommended that registration forms and deposits be received as soon as possible as space is limited to 100 campers and fills quickly. After your deposit is received, a confirmation phone call will follow, as well as a reinder notice that your family's final registration is due June 2nd.
