A weekend of fun for LGBT parents and their children!

Spectrum's 21st Annual Family Camp will take place at Valley of the Moon Camp in Glen Ellen on July 10-12, 2009. Come join other lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender families for a fun-filled weekend of activities which include hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, a talent show, field games and more!

For twenty-one years, Spectrum has offered a unique weekend experience for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender parents and their children in a safe and welcoming envionment. It's a thrill to stay in touch wtih families whose children are now grown, but remember fondly their annual experience at Family Camp.

The experience doesn't end when the weekend is over. Lifelong friendships are formed as a parents and children connect around their shared family experiences. So often during camp, we hear from parents what a true joy it is to simply "be" with their children, in an environment that is affirming and supportive of LGBT parents and relationships.

Our Family Camp experience brings together all types of familes - single parent, adoptive, foster, blended, and even a few grandparents and grandkids! If you have never yet attended camp, we encourage you to take the plunge this year. It's rewarding community gathering that will give you and your children a lifetime of memories.

Although Family Camp provides time for parents to socialize with other LGBT parents, we also ask that each parent and/or older children, lend support to at least one activity during the weekend. Please indicate your preferences on the registration as we try our best to accomodate requests.

Because camp is only a few weeks away, we encourage you to complete the online registration form as soon as possible. Full payment must be received at the time of registration. You may pay with check, credit card, or online using PayPal (which also accepts credit cards).
