Here are ideas for the kinds of gifts you can make to Spectrum:

Membership Gift
An annual Membership Gift of $25 or more will help ensure that Spectrum will have the funding to serve those who need it now. Our loyal donors receive regular updates via regular mail, email, and at various community events throughout the year.

Leadership Donor Circle
The Leadership Donor Circle honors supporters who have made a significant contribution to Spectrum’s mission, and includes any individual, family, or organization that has donated a total of $1,000 or more in any given year. As a leadership donor, you will be invited to special events, most often hosted by other lead donors, where you will receive personal updates on Spectrum’s work. You will also be given the opportunity to introduce other potential new donors to Spectrum.

A "Tribute" Gift
When your tax-deductible gift is a "tribute" for a special occasion or in honor or memory of someone special, you get the satisfaction of giving a truly meaningful gift-and we take care of sending the card!

Business Partner Sponsorship
Our new Business Partner program is available to for-profit businesses who would like to sponsor Spectrum’s work in exchange for the opportunity to share information about their services to our community (usually by way of sponsored email links and banner graphics on our website). Business Partners will be invited to participate in an annual ‘expo” of sponsors who make direct contact with Spectrum supporters.

Donate Personal Property
You can have a big impact on the lives of those we serve by donating a car, boat, computer, household items, or other gently-used property.

Corporate Matching Gift Program
Many companies match the charitable contributions made by their employees. Check your company's matching gift form guidelines. Complete the form and mail it with your donation to Spectrum LGBT Center, 30 North San Pedro Road, Suite 160, San Rafael, CA 94903. We will verify receipt of your gift and return the form to your company for matching funds.

Donate Stocks, Bonds, and Securities
The transfer of public traded securities to Spectrum is easy and full of advantages. Send an email and we’ll send you a form with instructions you can use to complete the process.

Leave a Legacy
When you remember Spectrum in your will and estate planning, you will help ensure that support for our programs and services continues in a most effective and thoughtful way. Make a confidential gift to the Spectrum Fund of Marin Community Foundation
The Spectrum Fund is an expendable fund account held at Marin Community Foundation. The purpose of the fund is to provide donors with an additional means to support Spectrum in various forms: cash, checks, stocks and bonds, public and privately held securities, and other forms of assets. Contributing to the Spectrum Fund of MCF is especially useful for those who wish to remain completely anonymous in their giving.

To make a donation directly to The Spectrum Fund of Marin Community Foundation (minimum donation is $1,000) make your check payable to “Marin Community Foundation” and be sure to write “The Spectrum Fund” on the memo line of your check. Contributions will be acknowledged to those persons or companies that appear on the check. Cash should be accompanied with a note stating your name and address, as well as a note stating that you are directing the gift to “The Spectrum Fund”.
